This is a human-centered residential project where I was assigned a hypothetical client to design a family home for within 7 weeks. My client, Benji Santiago, was a 20-year old Puerto Rican American art student with down syndrome, who lived with his mother and uncle. This project included extensive research on Puerto-Rican culture and lifestyles as well as how to create a home that supported Benji’s needs.
